Trap passivation and suppressed electrochemical dynamics in perovskite solar cells with C60 interlayers

In this study, we quantify the impact of C60-passivation layers in Cs0.15FA0.85PbI2.75Br0.25 double-cation perovskite solar cells. We apply a combination impedance spectroscopy, photoluminescence (PL) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) to identify origin for increase power conversion efficiencies operational stability cells fabricated with C60/ZnO electron transport layer (ETL) versus reference ZnO ETL. XRD reveals an PbI2 while PL spectroscopy Br-rich regions bulk devices containing C60 interlayers. electrochemical dynamics both cell architectures. Solar ETL demonstrate less pronounced slower spectra than conclude that leads formation PbI2-rich domains absorber layer, resulting reduced recombination losses improved stability.

Efficiency enhancement of planar perovskite solar cells by adding zwitterion/LiF double interlayers for electron collection.

Double interlayers consisting of a zwitterionic small molecule layer and a LiF layer were introduced between the electron transport layer and the cathode of perovskite solar cells.
